This past Monday our rancher notified us due to his family issues, he could not renew our lease for 2026.
We are looking for a ranch large enough for 3-5 hunters. Our hunters are all family oriented and I am a retired firefighter and a law enforcement officer and have been the ramrod on our last two leases. We hunt ethically and I have drilled safety into these guys since we first started hunting together in 2015. Two of the guys are my sons. That’s why I said we could get by with 3 openings but would love to keep our group of 5 together if at all possible.
Would like some type of house/cabin on lease if possible. 500-600 acres is fine with us. Several of us like to bow hunt and are looking for a year round lease. We feed year round and have our own feeders and stands.
We are all willing to work on the lease to improve it. We all know enough about general construction to improve any housing that may be on the lease. We would like to make two payments (spring & fall) if possible. We are all willing to submit to background check. Thank you.
